The bulk data loader tool creates archives of data from an SQL Server database, and rapidly loads that data into a different SQL Server database. The receiving database must have the same schema as the originating database.

Bulk Data LoaderThe data loading utility is designed so that it can be burned to a CD and sent to the customer as an auto-run program. It requires no additional runtime files and can be completely controlled from the command line.

There are no limitations on this version, but it does not have the full data-protection options such as encryption that will be present in the final product.

Data archives are created with the included bulkextract.exe program. Given a set of queries defined in definition file it will create an archive with the results of those queries stored in the proper format for bulk inserts. The format for the definition files is described in the enclosed README file.
